Note for DROPS Users: DROPS is a cross-platform file transfer application. We prioritize your privacy by keeping your data local to your network (LAN mode) or using secure end-to-end relaying (Internet mode). We do not use accounts, and we do not store your files permanently on any external servers.

Interpretation
The words whose initial letters are capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.
Definitions
For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:
- Application refers to DROPS, the software program provided by the Developer.
- Developer (referred to as either "the Developer", "We", "Us" or "Our") refers to Luu Lam Cong.

Types of Data Collected
1. All Files Access Implementation
Crucial Information: To provide its core functionality as a cross-platform file transfer
tool, the Application requires the MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission (All Files Access). This is
strictly used to:
- Enable the selection and transfer of any file type (non-media files like .zip, .pdf, .apk, etc.) between devices.
- Ensure received files are saved correctly to the user's chosen directory across different Android versions.
Transparency: We do not browse your private folders, collect personal data, or build a file index of your device. Your file content is only accessed when you explicitly select it for transfer. In Internet mode, data chunks are encrypted and temporarily cached on our relay server (Cloudflare R2/Worker) strictly for the duration of the transfer and are automatically deleted immediately after completion.
2. Usage Data
Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service to ensure stable network connections.
Usage Data may include information such as Your Device's Internet Protocol address (e.g. IP address), device name (for identification during transfer), mobile operating system, and other diagnostic data related to the file transfer process.
Use of Your Personal Data
The Developer may use Personal Data for the following purposes:
- To provide and maintain our Service: specifically to facilitate the discovery of devices and the transfer of files within your local network or via secure relay.
- To manage Your requests: To attend and manage Your file transfer requests.
Sharing Your Data: We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties. Your files are shared only with the specific devices you choose to connect with.
Security of Your Personal Data
The security of Your Personal Data is important to Us. Since DROPS operates locally or via secure peer-to-peer channels, the security of your transfers primarily depends on the security of your own network and our standard encryption protocols implemented during the transfer process.
Children's Privacy
Our Service does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone. Since we do not use accounts, we do not have a mechanism to store personal data of children or adults on our servers.

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify You of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
